TRANSFORM YOUR DOG INTO THE COMPANION YOU’VE ALWAYS DREAMED OF

HELPING FAMILIES ENJOY THEIR DOG THE
WAY THEY ALWAYS HOPED THEY WOULD

  • Does your dog not come when you call them?
  • Does your dog pull on the leash when you walk?
  • Does your dog jump on everything and you’re embarrassed to have people over?
  • Do you want your puppy to learn early, before bad habits begin?

You’re a phone call away from your dog coming to you when you call, walking right next to you on walks, and to have people over again without being embarrassed.

MEET YOUR TRAINER

Hey there! I’m Eric and like you, I love dogs. Along with being a certified dog trainer I have been a teacher and coach over the past 25 years.

I’ve been where you are right now.  When we first got my rescue cattle dog Rosie, my wife didn’t love her and Rosie didn’t like my three children. The kids were excited to have a new dog to play with and go for walks. Well, she only liked and played with me and she pulled like a horse on walks. Through this experience I realized how much of your day-to-day life is affected by your dog’s behavior.  You want to enjoy having a dog.  Finding the solution eventually led me to this career, where it’s been so rewarding to help others experience this, too.

My goal as a dog trainer is to help dog owners with stress that comes from your dog not listening to you, pulling on walks, jumping on people and counters, and generally causing day to day life troubles. The empathy I have with my clients is because I WAS them… frustrated, embarrassed, or sleeping in the other room because the dog wouldn’t be quiet.

My teaching and coaching background helps me stay calm, confident, with clear positive communication with my clients.  This also means we can follow step by step processes and keep things simple. Your dog will be just as awesome, but listen at the same time!

The rest of the story though… Rosie became an amazing dog for our family! We could go for off leash walks in the morning. She would listen across an open field, sitting and laying down when I asked her to (even from far away).  Ask me to show you the video at our first lesson!

Got Questions?

You’re not alone — here are a few things most dog owners ask before getting started.

Once you reach out, we’ll set up a quick phone consultation to talk about your dog, your goals, and which program fits best. From there, we’ll schedule your first session and get started. It’s simple, straightforward, and you’ll always be talking directly with me.

Each session is about 60 minutes. Every dog learns at a different pace, so we take the time needed to make sure both you and your dog feel confident before we finish.

Absolutely. Many clients begin with The Essentials and decide to continue to Out and About or Set for Life once they see results. You’ll only pay the difference in program cost — your progress carries right over.

That’s one of the most common questions I get — and it’s a great one. The main goal of training your dog is actually to train you, the owner. My job is to equip you with the knowledge and understanding of the entire training process so you can confidently lead your dog long after our sessions end.
Because we work together in your home and in real-life situations, the results you see are realistic, lasting, and specific to your dog and your lifestyle.

When you board your dog for training, they learn how to listen to the people they’re with in that environment. Once they come home, much of that training doesn’t transfer because everything about the setting and handler has changed.

With in-home training, your dog learns to listen to you — in the environment where real life happens. That’s what creates lasting results and a stronger bond between you and your dog.

Yes! Our Set for Life Program comes with a full lifetime support guarantee, so you never have to worry about your dog’s training slipping over time. I’m always just a call away if you need a refresher or extra help.

All other programs include ongoing support while you’re actively enrolled, but the lifetime guarantee is exclusive to the Set for Life Program.

No, all training is private and personalized. Every dog and family is different, and private sessions allow me to focus 100 percent on your specific needs and goals.

However, I do host Franklin K9 Academy group meet-ups in local parks where clients can bring their dogs to socialize and practice together in a fun, relaxed environment. If you’d like to be part of these meet-ups, just let me know — I’d love to have you join us!
